Would You Give 9p?

If costs very little to feed someone in Africa - a hot meal costs around 20-25p! However, for those in poverty their weekly food budget may equate to 80% of their income. That leaves very little to spare for a home, school, clothes, or an extended family. What is only loose change for us can really make a difference!

Our sponsors and fundraisers support feeding programs in Kenya, Philippines, Tanzania & Uganda, and we are recently looking to expand to support a feeding program in the leper colonies of the Andhra Pradesh region of India.

Our feeding programs keep children off the streets and keep them in school. Without that one hot meal a day children in East Africa either have to find work instead of going to school or go without. In the Philippines the children scavenge and beg, and can end up in jail because begging is illegal there.

One filter coffee at £1.75 is the equivalent of 7 hot lunches in East Africa. One cupcake sold at a bake sale for 25p could fund one child's food for the day.
