At present we work with our partner Nicholas Agonda in the Lake region of Western Kenya. This area is rugged, dry and hard to access. Hygiene and health care practice is poor and the majority of the population live on rural subsistence farming. Nicholas has been our partner for over ten years and is a highly respected member of his community. He worked in the agricultural department of the Kenyan government until his retirement and recently was the Governor of the top primary school in Homa Bay - Sister Dolores - which his son, Harrison, nows runs. Nicholas' vision is to see the best possible education given in one of the poorest and most marginalised rural communities, so that every child has an opportunity for a better future. Our Projects
